Bike trends at EUROBIKE 2018: REMA TIP TOP presents new products for bicycle mounting and tubeless tyres

Messe Friedrichshafen, July 8 to 10, 2018, Hall A3, Booth 104

E-mobility and numerous technical advances in the two-wheeler sector are the big topics at this year's EUROBIKE. REMA TIP TOP responds to the trend. When the global bike industry meets in Friedrichshafen, Germany, from July 8 - 10, 2018, the company is showcasing itself as an innovative partner for bicycle dealers and workshops.

From the safe-storage cabinet for batteries to the tube repair kit for e-bikes all the way through to environmentally friendly mounting stands, REMA TIP TOP is presenting a range of products for the repair, care and mounting of two-wheelers at 50 square meter, booth 104 in hall A3. “Our award-winning two-wheeler products are designed to make the daily work of workshop employees more ergonomic,” states Bodo Franz, Project Manager at REMA TIP TOP. “For us, it's exciting to see how dynamically the two-wheeler industry is developing year by year. We always have an eye on these developments and look forward to presenting new products again this year.”

Happily tubeless

One of the new program highlights from REMA TIP TOP is the professional latex sealant TT-SEAL TUBELESS & TUBE TYRES. It is the newest member of the TT-SEAL Tubeless product family. “We recommend our new sealant for mountain bikers and racing cyclists,” emphasizes two-wheeler expert Bodo Franz. “Compared to classic sealing fluids, it has a much lower weight. This is very important to serious bikers.”

Nevertheless, the sealant is an all-round specialty that can be used as preventive puncture protection for tubeless systems as well as tyres with tubes. Due to its excellent puncture-proof properties, the product is suitable for sealing puncture damage and leaks between the tyre and the rim. In addition to the 150-milliliter bottle, there is also a one-liter version. As a practical accessory, REMA TIP TOP offers a multi-use injector with which TT-SEAL TUBELESS & TUBE TYRES can be filled directly into the tube via the valve.

REMA TIP TOP is spearheading this trend for tubeless tyres with its own product line. The TT 13 TUBELESS repair kit with special tyre patches and the REMAXX Bike assembly fluid for simplified dismantling and repair of tubeless tyres are also included in the line in addition to the new TT-SEAL TUBELESS & TUBE TYRES sealant.

Little helper with great benefits

Visitors to the REMA TIP TOP stand can expect yet another innovation: the FIX & PROTECT set, a combined handlebar and saddle protector, which secures the bike during assembly and repair work. The set consists of handle protection with a Y-shaped belt and velcro, as well as a saddle cover. Two-wheeler mechanics can thus fix the handlebar and front wheel stably on the seat post.

At the same time, handles and saddles are protected from dirt and moisture in the workshop. “Owners of more expensive bicycles in particular value the fact that service centers treat their means of transport with care,” explains Bodo Franz. “Workshops using FIX & PROTECT can score points with their customers in this way.”

For workshops, FIX & PROTECT is the perfect complement to the REMA TIP TOP assembly stand. The handle and saddle protectors are made of high-quality, waterproof nylon. This useful aide weighs just 150 grams and is suitable for handlebar widths of 40 to 70 centimeters and seat widths of up to 17 centimeters.
