Automechanika Frankfurt - REMA TIP TOP shows trends in the tyre industry

Tradition with a view to the future: As an internationally active supplier of workshop equipment and tyre repair materials, REMA TIP TOP will be presenting proven and innovative tyre service products at Automechanika Frankfurt. From September 11 to 15 under the motto „Your trusted Partner for the Future", the automotive experts will be presenting a mature basic portfolio and highlight trends such as sensor technology and diagnostics. REMA TIP TOP thus fits perfectly into the program of the 25th Automechanika Frankfurt, which is expanding its portfolio on the anniversary with new themes such as "Classic Cars" and hosts the well-known REIFEN from Essen as a co-located show.

Car workshop equipment

Assembling, balancing, washing, lifting - the customers of REMA TIP TOP benefit from a differentiated product range that constantly sets new quality standards. The company presents some of its sophisticated products to international trade fair visitors at its stand. These include tyre changers from the PRO MAXX FORCE series, whose features, some of which are patented, enable efficient mounting. For example the professional tyre changer PROMAXX FORCE 1130i:"This automatic car changer is ideally suited for wheels from 12-30", explains Gunter Unterdörfer, head of sales and product management for workshop equipment. "The patented leverless mounting head, which allows working with and without the mounting lever, makes it unique. In addition, the "SMART LOCK" central clamping system and the automatic pneumatic bead hold-down make work considerably easier. Overall, one is looking forward to the great opportunity to present the REMA TIP TOP complete program to interested parties from all over the world, said Unterdörfer.

Diagnostics and monitoring

More comfort, higher safety: sophisticated sensor technology has now also arrived in the small car segment. Products for tyre pressure monitoring have been part of the REMA TIP TOP standard range for years - a portfolio that the automotive supplier is constantly expanding. REMA TIP TOP offers even more innovation in the field of diagnostics. "Around a quarter of all vehicles are already equipped with lane departure warning systems, parking aids and other assistance systems that make driving much more pleasant and safer," says Jan Wilke, Key Account Manager. "However, they confront service technicians with unusual challenges. For example, these systems have to be calibrated again and again after maintenance or repair, even with standard procedures such as the use of a new wheel and tyre combination". REMA TIP TOP knows the needs and meets them with the current PROFILER product line. At the trade fair, the company offers a foretaste of the future and shows how these diagnostic and programming devices can be adapted to all future requirements with the aid of upgrade packages.
